2006 Belton Lions Club

Lions Club International Melvin Jones Fellowship

Lion John Kolesar

Lion President Guy Randol presented Lion Ron Collins with Lions Club International's highest form of recognition, a Melvin Jones Fellowship. The presentation was conducted at the club's annual Officer Installation/Awards Banquet held at the Eagles Landing Golf Course Club House, Belton, MO.  The Melvin Jones Fellowship was created in 1973 and takes its name from the founder of Lions Club International, Melvin Jones.  The recognition is an honor, not an award!

Lion Ron's many accomplishments were announced by the Lions Club President Guy Randol. Lion Ron's son and daughter, Lorie Easton participated in the ceremony highlighting their many memories of their Dad and his accomplishments. The presentation was witnessed by many members of the Collins' family.  Congratulations to Lion Ron Collins.

Lion Tom Rayfield, MC for the evening starts the presentation process along with Lions Ron's daughter Lorie and son Dennis.

Lorie shares some interesting facts about her Dad as Lion Ron, Dolores and Dennis listen.
