The
Belton School District Vision Program: Annually the Belton Lions donate more than $2,000 to ensure that no child in
the Belton School District goes without proper eyeglasses. Working with
the school district's head nurse, the need is identified, the
child is referred to a local optometrist who fits the child with eyeglasses
and bills the Belton Lions Club. We have partnered over the years with
both the Belton School District and Dyer Vision Center to satisfy the needs of
this
program.
Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation
(MLERF):
The club donates annually to this organization.
Cass county residents who need the services of this foundation are
referred by the club.
