Robert Altman Gallery

Robert Altman, one of this century's finest photographers, always seemed to be in the front row when things happened. He has gratiously granted us permission to display some of his photos. Although these were not taken at Woodstock, here are superb photos of Woodstock musicians. We have also included some of his photos of the other events that shaped the Woodstock Generation...the Age of Activism...the Age of Political Unrest...riots, demonstrations and joy. Mr. Altman caught these events as they unfolded, showing how a generation of young people were able to effectively bring about changes for a whole nation. For those of you out there who lived these events, you can close your eyes and remember...for those of you who did not, you can imagine what it was like. We hope you will enjoy our gallery of Mr. Altman's work. To enjoy more photos by Mr. Altman, please visit his gallery click here.
