(Fulfilled 08/10/03)

Unknown We are having an International convention in Louisville, Kentucky this summer and I would love to have a MIDI file of the "Post Horn Gallop" (the horn piece played at the beginning of a horse race) for the Convention promotion page of our web site. I would very much appreciate any help you could give me.
Thank you very much!

08/10/03 - Ron Tilden, Marietta, GA, USA Figured Out That The Tune Is Many Times Named "First Call" And Mailed Me A Version Of It.  With Ron's Info I Also Discovered That Another Name Of The Tune Is "Call To The Post" And Has Been Used As A Bugle Call In The American Military Services Since The Civil War And The Real Name May Be Actually "Assembly Of The Buglers" And Later Become Popularly Known As "First Call" At The Horse Races!
"Play It!"

Hi Jack,
Do you happen to have a midi file of Shape of Things to Come by Max Frost and the Troopers?  I saw on your web page that at one time you were trying to identify the song but I didn't see a link to it.  If you could help me track down a copy I would sure appreciate it.
Thanks,
Marlin

I Had No Luck Finding A MIDI Either But I Found That The Studio Group Recorded It In 1968 And It Was Included On Their 1968 Album By The Same Name.  This protest song was actually recorded for the soundtrack for the 1968 movie: "Wild In The Streets" and is currently being used in a 2006 advertising campaign by Target Stores
