This is another variation of the BG Sound Src Tag along with The Embed Src tag
The song will start automatically on loading the web page and continue looping
until you click on another song or click the stop button or go to another page.
 This code seems to work well with most browsers and midi plug-ins.

This is another example of the Embed Sound And Background Sound Codes (Tags).

The Embed SRC tag is for Netscape and MS IE 3.0, and up browsers.

The BGSound tag is for older versions of Internet Explorer browsers below version 3.0.

This Test Works Fine With Most Versions Of Netscape.   If your Netscape browser has the Crescendo plug-in installed the Crescendo Logo will always show up.

Nearly any MS IE Version will also play one or other of the above code.  A viewer will normally come up on the screen with the older versions below 3.0.  It will probably be the viewer that media player [mplayer.exe] uses on your hard drive.  If the person viewing the page has a newer version of MS IE the Crescendo logo will show up (If they have the Crescendo Plug-In, as it will be using the Embed SRC tag.)

THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST CODE TO START USING WHEN YOU FIRST START MAKING YOUR PAGES AND PUTTING MIDI MUSIC IN THEM.  YOU CAN BE FAIRLY CERTAIN YOUR MUSIC WILL WORK.  YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE TO MORE ELABORATE CODES AS YOU GAIN EXPERIENCE.

THE BG SOUND TAG IS GRADUALLY BEING PHASED OUT AS IT IS ONLY GOOD FOR OLDER BROWSERS AND SOMETIMES CAUSES A CONFLICT WITH NEWER BROWSERS IF YOU ALSO HAVE OTHER CODING ON YOUR PAGE.

REMEMBER:  If you use only the BG Sound Src tag, Netscape browsers of any version will not be able to play the music on your page.
