| "The Best of Basie," is an excellent Big Band medley of hits made famous by the Count Basie Orchestra. Songs included are "Jumpin' At The Woodside", Music & Lyrics by Count Basie & Jon Hendricks, "Cute", Music & Lyrics by Neal Hefti & Stanley Styne, "Shiny Stocking's", Music & Lyrics by Frank Foster & Ella Fitzgerald, and "April In Paris", Music & Lyrics by Vernon Duke & E. Y. Harburg. All parts were individually scored for Jazz Ensemble using Freestyle & Performer Sequencing Software, and a Korg X5DR Synthesizer. This file is in Standard MIDI (Type 1) format. Note: This sequence can be used with non-GM synth's by loading it into a sequencer and re-assigning the Program Change and MIDI Channel data to meet the requirements of your equipment. |
